Sadaqah, or Sadqah, means to voluntarily give to charity just to please Allah. The Holy Quran and hadith of Prophet Muhammed SAW contain so many instructions and commands telling us to spend money in the path of Allah.

The amount of sadaqah one spends can be however little he likes. As long as there is sincerity in the giving, Allah will be pleased and will reward you in return.

  2. If you give to charity, it will become a shade for you on the day of judgement
  3. Sadaqah is a means of your dua getting accepted quickly
  4. Sadaqah jaariyah (continuous charity) is one of the few ways to continue getting reward after death
  5. Those who give frequently to charity will enter from a special gate in paradise (jannah)
  6. Giving in charity will multiply your wealth and rewards in this world and the hereafter
